A well maintained Victorian terraced house in a quiet lane near the old railway line which now forms the lovely footpath to Threlkeld. It is within 10 minutes easy, level walking distance of Keswick town centre and offers nicely decorated, beautifully clean, warm, cosy, comfortable self-catering accommodation for families of up to 5.
Whilst Primrose Cottage has been modernised with full gas central heating, double glazing and an up-to-date kitchen and bathroom it still retains its character and has a traditional, homely feel. The cottage has a small patio garden to the rear and garden furniture is provided for the summer months.
The lounge has recently been refurnished with comfortable settees and has a colour television, DVD, video player and flame effect Dimplex electric fire. There is an open fire in the dining room which, again, has recently benefitted from refurnishing. The dining room also has a radio, second television, Video and DVD player.
The kitchen has been fitted with modern wood units and has a gas cooker, refrigerator with freezer compartment, automatic washing machine/tumble drier, a microwave, food mixer, blender and well equipped cupboards. Hot water is on constant supply from a gas combi-boiler.
The bathroom is on the ground floor beyond the kitchen and has a bath with shower over, toilet and wash basin.
Bedrooms - a large single bedroom and two double bedrooms. Linen is provided free of charge. A cot and high chair can also be provided.
Electricity is by £1 coin meter. Coal is supplied free of charge.
Please bring your own towels (arrangements can be made for towels to be provided for overseas guests or if you are using public transport).
Dogs are allowed at no additional charge and are welcome provided they are never left in the cottage unattended and that guests are careful not to allow them onto the beds or furniture. You must ensure there is no evidence of your pet in the cottage OR outside when you vacate the property.
