Situated in the centre of town, this modern ground floor apartment offers the best of both worlds. It is a couple of minutes' level walk from the shopping area, within easy walking distance of Derwentwater and spectacular walks in the surrounding countryside can start at the door. Over 60s can have a ball with their bus passes and travel all round Lakeland. Those guests who haven't been awarded their bus pass can still give the car a holiday as the bus station is only one minute's walk away.
The apartment has full gas central heating and all hot water is in constant supply from a combi boiler.
The kitchen has a good range of well equipped units, a refrigerator/freezer, an automatic washing machine/tumble drier, a microwave, gas hob and electric oven.
The bathroom has a bath, toilet, wash hand basin.
The comfortable lounge/dining room with its bay window has a colour TV, DVD and electric fire.
Bedrooms - one double with en-suite shower, toilet and washbasin; one twin room with views to Skiddaw. All beds have duvets and linen is provided free of charge.
Please bring your own towels (arrangements can be made for towels to be provided for overseas guests or if you are using public transport).
This property is owned by Graham and Sarah Chaplin-Brice who live at Low Bridge End Farm, St John’s-in-the-Vale. During your stay you are welcome to visit the Farm which has rare breed sheep, red squirrels, badgers and an especially wide variety of birdlife. They also have a Tea Garden which is open from March until the end of October.
